Learn how to paint grasses with accomplished Wildlife and Nature painter Peter Potapoff. Paint alongside the instructor in this 1 Day intensive Workshop. Working from a photo reference Peter will run through a step by step process of realistically depicting grass in acrylic paintings. Students will learn tricks of the trade to convincingly depict grasses without having to paint each and every blade of grass. Leave the workshop with your own completed study and the confidence to tackle grasses in future landscape paintings.

INSTRUCTOR BIO | PETER POTAPOFF
Peter Potapoff is a professional artist living in Calgary, Alberta. He has been painting for over 50 years and is passionate about sharing his skills and knowledge through teaching. Born and raised in southeastern British Columbia, Peter has immersed himself in the outdoors all his life. He lived and worked in Northwest Territories for 12 years. There he experienced the immensity of the tundra its array of animals such as caribou and muskox.
He is nationally and international recognized for his Canadian wildlife paintings and has won numerous competitions and awards including Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year and BC Wildlife Federation Artist of the Year Awards.
