Suitable for Acrylic or Oil Painters. Beginners or Intermediates.
Learn how to transfer subject matter to the panel with correct proportions and achieve accurate colour values that will push your painting to the next level. This series of classes designed to cover all the basics of realistic painting. You will learn about composition, lighting, values, and develop the technical skills to create your very own masterpiece!
Students will work on their own projects under the guidance of the instructor. Working from photo references, students are free to choose their own subject matter (still life, landscape, portrait) and work on any size of canvas or panel they desire.

INSTRUCTOR BIO | PETER POTAPOFF
Peter Potapoff is a professional artist living in Calgary, Alberta. He has been painting for over 50 years and is passionate about sharing his skills and knowledge through teaching. He is nationally and international recognized for his Canadian wildlife paintings and has won numerous competitions and awards including Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year and BC Wildlife Federation Artist of the Year Awards.
